  1. my father was a gardener and so am I. I think I have not just got a green thumb but soil running through my veins. You have some really great gift ideas for under $100. The one I particularly like is the Harvest basket. But I would use it to grow tulips or daffodils in. Do you think it is big enough to do this?. I think it would make a great present for Christmas. Just line the base with a growth mat and add the soil, plant, and water. Do you think this is a good idea?

    Thanks

    • Hi Steve,

They have 2 sizes.  I actually have the large size and would be plenty big enough to make a planter out of it.  That is a great idea.  I wasn’t thinking about using it as a planter.  Thank you for your idea and comments.

      Thanks

  2. What great gift ideas. My wife has the green thumb in the family and you have just solved my Christmas gift problem. The tulips are it. She is of Dutch heritage and loves tulips. I love good tools. You have several options that look good to me. Gardening is one of the things I recommended to help improve our resilience when supply chains break. I live on an island 3000 miles from the nearest continental sources of food.

  3. My sister loves gardening. She is actually currently growing a sunflower tree and it is growing. Mainly because it is raining a lot haha. But I will be sure to share this article with her. This is her field of interest so she will have a great time reading it. Thank you for this article

  4. Some great ideas for Xmas. I in fact would love to have the Womans work bucket caddy for instance, as this is such a useful and imaginative gift as you can use in the garden and in the house.

I also love the Arm Saver gloves as I think my hippy Aunty will enjoy those. The flowers just do it for me.
