  • You can grow leafy vegetables, such as lettuce, watercress, spinach, mustard, cress, rocket, endive, swiss chard, nettle, etc.

Happy Planting!

Those are the basic hydroponic systems out there. I found these were more feasible to use indoors. These are all viable options and all work just fine. It depends on the cost and size you want. It’s a personal preference for which system you go with. I hope you found this information helpful.

  1. Hi there,

II live in a small house, so I don’t have a lot of space to grow plants indoors. The GROWNEER 6 sites will suit me more. Although it can hold only 6 plants, it’s fine for me, and it’s affordable., I’ll go for it. I just would like to know how long does a grower like this can last? One year? Two ears? Or more?  I want to avoid buying a new hydroponic kit every two or three months:)

Thank you for this excellent post!

    • Hi Daniella,

Once the crop is done, you can plant a new crop.  Growing indoors you control the climate.  You could get a grow light to help if you don’t have a lot of sunlight.  Good Questions!  Thank you for your comments.

  2. When COVID hit I decided to try planting spinach indoors to have a nice supply of greens. I researched hydroponic kits but there were too many choices to make a selection. The “Hydroponic Growing System Gardening Grow Salad Kit” would be my choice. Having a good variety of leafy greens on hand would be awesome. Thanks for sharing this information.

  3. Hydroponic gardening is perfect for all of us that live in apartments. We do not need to devote a lot of space to indoor
gardening. Several hydroponic grow systems come in compact or vertical styles and include everything we need to get growing. Because we grow without soil, there’s less mess. I really liked the AeroGrow Farm 24 Plus. I’ll purchase it!

I really like the AeroGrow Farm 24 Plus too!  It’s one of the nicer hydroponics systems.  I added a link to AeroGrow website that has the AeroGrow Farm.  Thank you for your comments and stop back for more gardening tips.
