Hello!
It’s getting close to that time when you need to start planning your vegetable garden. For some of you, it maybe already time and you are already getting the garden prepared. If you are looking for raised bed garden kits, I am going to review a few of them from Gardener’s Supply.
Raised bed garden kits are easy to set up, plant and maintain, producing high yields in a compact space with less digging and weeding. And now you’ll find just the right size and shape bed for your needs. Use raised beds to grow vegetables, or install the beds along a perimeter to create stunning border gardens. You can even build a pyramid garden by stacking smaller beds atop larger ones.
I am also looking for myself. I am revamping the vegetable garden into raised beds, so I will review the ones I like the best and pass the information on to you.
Let’s get started!

For the most part, people seem happy with this product but maybe in the northern states where we get snow this might not be a good choice due to the rusting and paint bubbling up that were reported in the reviews. 84% and 89% of the people who purchased these products would recommend them. I think I might look into seeing about applying a protective coating, if I were to purchase them since I live in the north with lots of snow and see if that would help from weathering too soon.

These look like a real nice raised garden bed. They look like they would go with my home. I live in an old farmhouse but I like more of the cottage theme. Either way I like the looks of these. One of the reviews I read was, one of the boards arrived damaged and Gardener’s supply replaced it within one week. This particular Farmstead Cedar raised garden bed comes in 2 other sizes, 3 x 3 = $119.00 and 3 x 8 = $189.00

Raised garden beds look very good in any garden. And my family has been asking me since the pandemic began to build one at home. At first, I thought it could be complicated, but now watching the videos and reading your explanation, I see that it’s very simple. I may begin building ours tomorrow, taking advantage that it will be Monday and the week is just starting.
Hi Abel,
Thank you for your comments. I am switching my vegetable garden to raised beds.
Good day, I’m pleased to meet you. I have never planted raised beds but I’m thrilled to know that it’s easy to set them up, plant and maintain them, producing high yields in a compact space with less digging and weeding as you outlined. This review is educational and informative, thanks for sharing. This is helpful for gardeners who like raised beds.
Thank you for your comments! They are very easy!
These all look so good! I just recently started my own small fruit garden and I’m slowly trying to figure out how to begin planting and growing our vegetables; especially corn and peas. I have been thinking of trying out raised beds but I was a little unsure of what exactly I wanted. Luckily, you provided a good selection of some good kits. Thank you for providing the dimensions cause I had seen some raised beds on other sites that don’t give specifics and it’s really frustrating. Looking forwards more of your reviews!
Hi Stephanie,
If you are going to grow corn. Make sure you plant them close together. When they produce the tassels and when the wind blows, the tassels touch each other and that is what pollinates them to produce corn stalks. I have seen corn grown in containers and raised bed. If you grow peas they may need a trellis or supports to grow them. Thank you for your comments.
Hi Chris, incredible idea, I have a friend that has a vegetable bends she call them. However, I love garden myself, I am always in my yard, so I think you have a great idea! The farmstead Cedar raised Garden beds are very good, you can have a flower garden and also plant vegetables for self or for sale, is there a special kind of soil? or just the kind you buy in store. I love this I will probably get one after I figure the size. Good Job!
I have lots of tools already.
Hi Dorothy,
I am glad you like my raised bed garden review. As far as soil I prefer an organic soil like FoxFarm or an unbranded name of organic soil. Please share my website with others and stop back! Thank you for your comments!
I really like the raised beds, they are very useful and much easier on the back. I actually made one and bought all the materials from home depot. I actually spent more money than if I just bought one from here. I’ll have to consider that next time. thanks for the information.
Hi Al,
Thank you for your comments! I am also changing my garden to be raised beds this year.
